Add a search form or widget on another page

You may want to add a search form or widget on your homepage. Here’s how.

Let’s say you installed StoreMapper on http://www.example.com/store-locator. You just need to create a form that points to that page and set the attribute “storemapper” to your search query. The form will redirect to that page with the query appended like https://www.example.com/store-locator?storemapper={query} and the Storemapper app will execute the search right away.

Here’s the HTML.

Note: this also mean you can share deep-linked URLs that will automatically run a search. Example:

https://www.storemapper.co/demo?storemapper=10012
